I can do it on my own!

(I want to say that I am sorry that I have not writen in a while)

So I came to the realization about fasting today, usually when I fast, I tend to set a standard (often way higher than I could even obtain) and only to set my self up for failure. It dawned on me today (and might I add that it frustrates me just to think about my selfishness) why don't I seek the counsel of a godly man and ask him to help me do this ("No way," I say to myself, "I can do it on my own!") but to walk we need to crawl. And I hate to impose my standards on people, but we need this. Spiritual Discipline is a must to grow closer to our Father!!!! do not by any mean fast that you may show yourself "incredible Christian!" but we still need this, but if we are going to need someone to show us how to be able to do these things!!! Praise Jesus, if we do not trust godly men and women then we have bigger problems going on... we cannot do things on our own, it's DANGEROUS TO THINK SO!!!! trust me! anyway, praise Jesus, make us new... give us patience, Lord because we are not quick fix beings, but ones who will take years (intense years) to become what you want us to become! We love You Jesus!
